GNB’s warranty depends on the battery type, but for automotive AGM (SLA/AGM) batteries, GNB provides a 24-month (2-year) warranty.
How a warranty claim works:
To find your car battery size, you’re usually looking for the battery group size, plus the right CCA rating for your climate.

Not sure what you have? Contact GNB with your Year/Make/Model and a photo of your current battery label (group size + CCA) and we’ll confirm the right fit.
Battery group size is a standardized fitment code (commonly based on BCI group sizes) that tells you the battery’s physical dimensions (length/width/height) and often the terminal layout/position—so the battery fits your tray and cables properly.
Why it matters:
In most cases, yes. Installing a battery with a higher CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) than the vehicle’s minimum recommendation is safe and can improve cold-weather starting. The starter will only draw the current it needs.
What you must match (this is where people go wrong):
Worth it in Canada? Often, yes. Going higher CCA within the correct group size can be a practical upgrade for winter reliability.
